Wasdale Head

Evening shot of Wasdale Head taken from the eastern slopes of Illgill Head early February. The fells left to right are Yewbarrow, the back of Pillar, Kirk Fell, Great Gable, Lingmell and the lower slopes of the Scafell range. What you can’t see in the picture is the biting cold wind that was blowing straight into the camera. Despite a solid tripod, camera shake proved a major problem.
