First Light Hallin Fell (Ullswater)
First Light Hallin Fell (Ullswater)

Hallin Fell from Bonscale Pike (Ullswater). Dawn photographt late May. There was some spectacular early morning light around first thing. This shot was taken at 5.20am just before the sun rose into cloud. It did come out again but by then the colours were a little more muted. Howtown boat landing can be seen in the foreground, Great & Little Mell Fells on the right of the picture in the middle distance, Blencathra and Skiddaw in the middle far distance and you can just make out a distant Helvellyn and Catstye Cam on the far left of the shot.
