Winters Grip Derwent Fells
From a photographic perspective the winter of 2009/2010 was just perfect. A prolonged period of freezing temperatures and lots of snow made for some spectacular photography. This photograph was taken from Walla Crag and looks across a frozen Derwent Water towards Cat Bells and the other Derwent Fells. Evening shot taken in January.
